This part was built for the jet sweep system and its purpose is to connect the sweep hose to the jet sweep harness (looks like a wishbone). The opposite end is threaded (male) in order for it to connect to the hose connector (female) attached to the sweep hose thus providing the power for this system to operate and clean the surface of your pool.
