Hayward PoolVac Ultra/PoolVac Classic/Hayward Blu Screen (AXV051AWH) Hayward Screen (AXV051AWH) is a replacement part that was made by Hayward from the same high-quality materials used to manufacture the original Factory part making this a genuine OEM product. This Screen was made to help add an extra layer of filtration as some of the water that passes through the rear of the cleaner can be littered with fine dirt and debris, so this screen was designed to filter this debris so that way it doesn’t make its way into the cleaner where is can block or cause damage to the cleaners internal Gears. The part rests on the backside of the cleaner and is matched to the color scheme of the cleaner, making it easy to identify when trying to locate. Now if you are trying to trouble shoot an issue with the cleaner not turning or changing direction, could be due to the filter screen being clogged and not allowing the water to travel fluidly through the cleaner’s backside, you will need to clean the screen and remove this debris to restore the turning ability back to the cleaner so it can cover the entire surface of the pool.
